bio_jeff JEFF LUNDWALL has worked in the media and media/technology industries since the mid‘90s.  Jeff held sales positions at CMP and helped launch The Industry Standard, the first business magazine for the internet.  Jeff then founded three content sites where he managed sales and business development. Jeff was also involved in early web video and widget development. Before launching Mercury Group, Jeff was Associate Publisher at Condé Nast Digital, where he helped grow staff and revenue 5x over four years.

Jeff is also co-author of Media 20/20: The Next Decade, a book providing insight into the media industry with specific commentary from dozens of influencers and decision makers across various areas of media. (published spring 2010) . A graduate of UCLA, Jeff currently resides in downtown Manhattan.

bio_jd JD REHM has worked in the media business since the early ‘90s.  JD held sales and sales management positions at G+J Publishing, Hearst Corporation and Condé Nast.  JD was also a Partner with the recruiting firm Bentley & Farrell for three years. A graduate of the College of Holy Cross, Rehm resides in Darien, Connecticut with his wife, Kathy, and their five children.

bio_judy3 JUDY LAUGHREN has worked in the agency business since the mid ‘70s. Experienced in both traditional and interactive marketing, she spent the last 9 years as SVP at Digitas, with prior digital experience as Director of Client Services for Blue Marble ACG. At Digitas, Judy was also the NY Marketing Capability lead, responsible for resource management, staffing and personal development of the 150+ department.  She started her career at DDB. Judy has a BA in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and is a certified executive coach.  Judy resides with her husband, Rick, in New York City.

bio_tonia3 TONIA MATTU is a consultant with the Mercury Group providing career coaching to media professionals in transition. Tonia transitioned her own career by re-locating from Canada and partnering with rogenSi, a global business performance consultancy, where she gained extensive training and experience in the field. Previously, Tonia worked in media developing new business partnerships with McDonald’s, Burger King, Mercedes-Benz, Rolex, and BMW, earning her national recognition from CHUM, Canada’s leading multimedia broadcast company. Tonia earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University and is currently completing certifications from the Coaches Training Institute and the Neuro Linguistic Programming Center of New York.

SUSAN BLANK has worked in publishing since the mid ‘70s.  She achieved great success as Publisher/Associate Publisher of large women’s consumer magazines.  She became Vice President of Corporate Sales for Condé Nast and, subsequently, moved into a career in Human Resources as Executive Director of Advertising for Condé Nast. As a consultant, she recruited 28 technical/sales/marketing professionals for a new venture for the Financial Times (FT Search/Newssift). Susan earned her BS degree in Education from the University of Colorado and lives in Connecticut with her husband, Peter.

JANINE MICELI has worked in the media business since the mid ‘70s in roles including Human Resources, Editorial and Marketing. Most recently, Janine was a VP in Human Resources at Time Inc. where she led business side talent acquisition and executive-level searches. Janine began her media career at Condé Nast as an Editorial Production Manager and later Marketing Manager. Janine later moved into Human Resources at  Condé Nast where she spent 15 years.  A graduate of SUNY Cortland, Janine resides on Long Island with her husband, Dan.
